Remembrance

I was praising and worshiping the Lord in service and the Lord took me to 11 years back where I didn't even dare to raise up my hands during worship.

It has changed me tremendously in P&W line.As I was praising, I saw few people in front of me and beside me were moving left and right while singing...
I suddenly was brought to consciousness...

I dance like that too when praising the Lord. or...sometimes even 'worse' than them. I jumped and danced like nobody's business. I didn't care how people view me when I am praising and worshiping actually. But I REALISED that I cared...at least during that very moment. I was concerned with how people see me when I jumped and danced so vigorously.

The story of David dancing before the ark of the Lord once again (in fact, it does every time when I have this kind of concern in my mind) flashed to me. It's like the Holy Spirit is telling me that "Esther, the most important audience is God"

I was struck with awe and A-HA MOMENT! Isn't our God such a great God?

I was so touched and inspired once again by His anointing and His teaching.

Thank you Lord...I love you and I want to know you more and more...

I was glad to have a chance and have a part in this.

Looking at the calendar which one of my dearest friends gave it to me. Dated 16th May. That's the scripture.

I thought to myself, 'Yeah...right, I'll have to stand firm.'

I was praying...started to wipe my tears off . Thought could conceal it. Sandy was at the other side watching.I can't help myself. All I could do is only... 'be still'....I prayed...Cried even more... She walked towards me and asked in a soft voice, 'What happened' . Gosh...that moment, without telling anything, I kept weeping. I felt like my prayer was heard; my feelings were heard too.

'Got tired?'
Silence.

Exam is finally over. Had a quite lame birthday celebration with Joshua, then headed to Kepong with Peir Yan and Katherine for the next round of dinner.

I was exhausted and at the same time, I remembered that it's 12pm jamming session with fellow brothers and sisters!!! How wonderful is that!

I am looking forward for tomorrow and indeed, for the event! The 'FLYER DISTRIBUTION' Movement! Great! Hope and Pray that people will open up their hearts to receive this eternal life blessing and anointing! Amen! Praise the Lord!

I was very tired but I have to wake up earlier to go to St. John's Cathedral's AOHD for voluntary placement. We ended up arriving earlier --> 7.30am!!! Where we supposed to be there at 9am. We went to a restaurant nearby for breakfast.

Out of no where in the heart of KL City which filled with high-rise buildings, exists an ironic-extreme setting which is infamously attracting a different crowd.

A western breakfast which comes with coffee. I was kinda contented with the food and we started to talk with Carl, the person-in-charge. Finally, I got an overall view of the feeding programme.

I had trouble sitting and standing...I got very restless because I was tired. I enjoyed being there because not only does it serve as a valuable experience, it also gives me a whole new perspective in seeing people around me. I'm so blessed that sometimes or most of the time, I take things for granted! Thank God that I'm able to lend a helping hand and to serve people at my age. Experience serves as a better teacher compared to study alone. I totally agree with that.

After the exhausting event, I headed college for my group project discussion and got ready for class! I was looking forward for Dr. Hera's lecture on Eating Disorders. I thought it'd be something very interesting but it was the opposite. It's distressing to know bout it. When I was being asked what or who should be responsible for the disorders, I was startled and I realised how important it is to think before we have to say something especially on the outlook. I was being brought up with collectivistic culture and evaluation from others seems very important. In fact, many take it very seriously and ended up hating themselves. It's disheartening to know some facts underlying beneath.

Did I misjudge or are the girls here really getting thinner and thinner? I never look into that until I came back from the States.

Treatment doesn't really help. Prevention does. I pray for better future in Malaysia.

Freaky Friday

It's finally Friday and as usual I took the bus to KPD E for my Human Services class at 8 a.m. I really didn't know who to blame...Sigh...I was there at 7.50a.m. but the bus did not move till 8.10 or so...I was...kinda pissed off by the fact that it was all crowded and stuffy.

A guy stood beside me, let out a couple of sneezes...It felt gross itself, all the more, some 'fluid' substance fell on my left arm. It felt even worse. I wanted to utter out 'Bless you'. But I was very self-aware at that moment where I knew if I were to say that, it'll be considered as culturally not acceptable. Well...This reminded me of what had happened in LAX. The day when I was ready to board the plane to head back to Malaysia. An Asian man, while dealing something at the check in counter, was letting out a very very loud sneeze! Then, out of nowhere, in between the crowd, a loud 'Bless you' was shouted! Haha.....There was a blast of laughter at the airport. I was one of them who laughed as well.

I was thinking...Why these things could happen in US but why not in Malaysia. That'd make Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur a better place. Don't you think so? Where everybody isn't minding their own business, being cold blooded and numbed by many social issues. I miss the moments where I could say hi to anybody whom I met without being awkward or being judged as weirdo.

Do overprotective parents make us better? I don't know. but one saying says it all... Too much care kills a cat. I think I agree with the saying and it's true I suppose. I don't know how do parents feel. I'm not parents myself and I couldn't understand how it feels like when your children wants to go to Fraser's Hill. I'm confused... I wasn't allowed to go to Fraser's Hill cuz it seems to my parents that it's very dangerous. 'Why take the risk?'

I didn't want to argue with them cuz I know they love me but...back to the question again. Do cares like that make good?

For the very first time after so many months of not stepping into the local cinemas. My first time had given to Caryn, Pui Kit, Yi Yang and You Ming. I had a quite expensive lunch at Sushi Groove as well. I like the movie - Prince Caspian a lot. I personally liked it better compared to the first. The actors in the movie have grown up and they all looked gorgeous. It has so many biblical symbolic scenes.

'The same thing will not happen twice'. When I heard this, I immediately thought of the death of Christ on the cross for us. Yes, it will not happen again because His death and that He's risen from the dead had accomplished it all, once and for all. God is Almighty when the waters drowned the Telmarines who were trying to destroy the Kingdom of Narnia as well as the Narnians. Praise God for what He's done that He saves us from miry clay and hold our hands.

Solaire, if I didn't spell it wrong, had decent food. Although I don't really like the food, and plus, the mocktail that I ordered didn't come out well. Gunner it's the name. We had a lot of fun and we're glad that we could celebrate Mad's and PuiKit's birthday!!! Yay!!! I think we scared away many people in the restaurant. We made too much noise!! What to do?...we are young adults, students from HELP University College.

I need the fresh anointing...

I found myself lost in the middle and I'm still adjusting to the 'new' environment. Even though I've lived here for most of my life but...I found it hard to get myself back to this solid and cruel ground.

I hit hard on the floor and this is disheartening. Many things had happened. I couldn't feel the ground and it's frustrating me. I'm moody since I'm back. It feels as if I couldn't fit in anymore. It feels weird and I'm trying my best not to show it.

I must admit that I got used to the indulging life in US. Almost everything doesn't work out good since I'm back; be it with family, school and friends...

Lord, I will keep relying on you so that I will gain the strength once again. REFRESHED AND RENEWED...

Home??? Doesn't sound very appealing to me... The weather is just unbearable. It's difficult. The humidity suffocates me. I could name a million of bad things after I came back but at the same time, I couldn't resist the benefits of being a Malaysian. Still, I'm proud to be a Malaysian.

I thought I've used to the unfriendliness here in Malaysia or even Asia. But, just after I arrived Singapore Changi International Airport, I was entertained by a very rude customer service agent. I was very mad at her but still, to show my patience, I talked gently to her.

Couldn't take it when I asked 'How are you' and it comes without an answer or even a brief smile. I must say it's very very relevant to me now that Malaysia being rated as one of the rudest countries.

Reflecting back when I was in Great Falls. Everybody or almost everyone show kindness and friendliness to strangers. Does it mean that I'm experiencing culture shock here? Maybe...

Why is there a vast difference between cultures and how do they form? Who started certain culture and how it was being brought down? Generations after generations...

Here, if you were to smile to someone, you will be assumed to be a weirdo. To certain culture, expressing friendliness means doing something cuckoo. I had a deep thought on Monday during PSY 206. Certain behaviours are thought to be abnormal here while it's perfectly normal and acceptable in other places.

I was being seen as a weirdo when I just blurted a 'hi' to one of the salesmen in Digital Mall earlier. I was so used to say hello to people I met in US and of course, without fail, they'd smile and utter 'hi' to me. I must say that they looked attractive even though their features might not be. Nevertheless,people here have attractive faces, but with ugly manners. If were to compare, the latter will lose out.

So, reality tells me..Getting adjusted to the 'new' culture is extremely needed.

17-day trip ended just like that. Putting the period sign for my U.S. Work and Travel Program.

It was filled with fun, joy, perplexity and eye-opening encounters. First, when I was asked to pay $100 for my overweight luggages. It almost ruined my many good plans for the trip. Nonetheless, we are supposed to look forward and keep moving! And hence, my journey turned out better than what I expected.

I got to meet travellers from other places: Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Europe, Vietnam Singapore and locals. Thank God for bringing me so many special friends into my life as I was going through the days.

Disneyland Theme Park for me indeed is the happiest place.

Universal Studio is a up and hip place! Youngsters are all over the places enjoying special shows and rides. I was one of them elated with excitement! 'The Mummy Revenge' ride was the most thrilling part followed by Jurassic Park ride. I love those rides! Got my adrenaline pumpin'!
Studio Tour brought you to witness with the greatest production ever; what and how to.

Haha... Watching people soaked wet was another fun thing to do as well!! Getting wet in sunny day is a great idea!

San Diego - another city in California. The Sea World didn't sound appealing to me. Maybe it's just me.

Las Vegas! a.k.a Sin City!! It's gorgeous at night and very very very very happening!! More bounce! World's largest hotels are here in the middle of the desert. It was amazing to know how many tourists came to visit Las Vegas for the past 5 years and how tremendously the city has changed since the last couple years!
Grand Canyon!! SPECTACULAR! It's more than meet the eye! I was totally feeling it. 'Lord I'm Amazed by You' ... Formed way before B.C and has been around for more than a billion years. I was so tiny compared to the great Grand Canyon. I was very moved by the creation of God and was amazed by His love. Deeply touched by everything I saw.

Yosemite National Park
Finally, some cool breeze with elevation of 7000 feet. Awesome! I love the place for its serenity and peace. Very tiring journey but worth the travel.

San Francisco
Famous for its Fisherman's Wharf, Crooked Street and Golden Gate Bridge! The houses were so nicely organized and it's a good residential place.

The City Hall is another classic building which is mainly built with granite from top to bottom. Castro Street, Alcatraz and more...

Monterey Bay

A place where renown artists wanted to stay away from the busy and stressful world. Famous directors like Stephen Spielberg spent a huge deal of money to build himself a bungalow so that he could indulge in his very own kind of lifestyle here.

Los Angeles

Melrose strip, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Rodeo Drive, The Grove & the Farmers' Market, and the Robertsons Boulevard were the only places I went in L.A. Maybe it's because I was tired by all the travelling or maybe it's just the city itself that I lost the interest to explore further. Nothing much could be seen other than the branded stores, high rise buildings, and repetitive scenes.

Finally here in Disneyland, Anaheim!!

'Dreams do come true'
It is insisted everywhere in the speakers, from the mouths of emcees and the shows. In imagination, everything is possible. It was heard when I entered into the 'Honey, I shrunk the audience' 3D show.

Trying to name every ride I took today.
The Space Mountain was the coolest deal and followed by a relaxing, light-hearted ride in the Storybook Land. It's all Fantasy! The Pixar Play Parade was fantastic! I'm lovin' it!

Here I am in Disneyland and excited to see so many different things! Overwhelmed by them, and people coming from all over the world! I could see how and why.

The theme goes 'The year of a million dreams!'

I like the Aladdin: Musical Spectacular the most. The performance was amazing! Marvellous actors, costume designs, musical arrangements, magnificent backdrops and special effects. It was hilarious as well especially when the Genie was making fun of himself.

Really nice experience that one couldn't afford to miss!

PJ party!! Dressin' up in pyjamas makes everybody looks cute! I couldn't reveal every picture here as I might offend the privacy law. hehehe....
That was another farewell party at the Great Falls Inn. Told ya, working here is a blessing for me. Everyone brought some food for the Indian Tacos. Frybread by Lori was exceptionally good! I thank God for granting me with so many fun memories to be treasured here in Great Falls! I especially want to thank Margie for treating us with Snyder's Drug's milkshakes! Yummy!! I must admit that everyone was stuffed full! haha...What a day!

A christian bands concert is in town!!
Last night's concert was a blast! We had Manic Drive, Wavorly and Pillar bands! It was held at the UGF's hall and everybody there went crazy! I was one of them in the crowd, jumping and praising, screaming and dancing! It totally rocks! Jammin' up! I was bombarded with loud music! I thought my ear couldn't take it! haha...after so many months of 'low-profiles' going on.

I love the Pillar's drummer, he played drums since he was 3 yrs old. I was so glad that I got the opportunity to take a picture with him.!!!wahahaha...

My neck hurts after several months without excessive dancing. But I know I enjoyed the whole thing!

I was moved because there were so many youngsters jumping and praising the Lord. In my heart, I've got a sudden deep moaning and cry that Lord will raise up this generation to perform great things to glorify Him. Devil's have been trying to demolish the young generation with abortions, suicides, and so many other drug-abused issues. I can't help praying for them and of course, myself that I will walk with the Lord and that His fragrance in me will be able to spread to the lost.

A lady, Bonnie, whom I hardly even know, gave me a picture which she painted few months ago of tree with many fruits on top. I burst into tears when I heard what she said to me. I was totally amazed by what God has for me in my life. This is something that I've never thought or imagined of. Like what was written in the book of Ephesians 3:20. She gave me a big hug telling me that God sees the whole picture where most of us didn't pay attention to. Every little tiny thing matters in the sight of God. Bonnie is a wonderful lady that I met just few days ago. She didn't even know me until last Sunday. Isn't God amazing?

I am definitely going to miss Great Falls! And I'm looking forward to what God has for me in my life!

Last week in Great Falls

It was nice out last Sunday and so, we went to Giant Spring, Gibson Park, the riverside road, Amigo Lounge and pay a visit to Granma Chris. What a wonderful day! In addition to that, I attended 2 church services (VCC and Faith Center). I glad I did even though I was exhausted. Finally, I got hooked up with some younger gals. I missed the fun with them! Indeed, they are energetic!

Praise God!

Last Friday was the most wonderful day ever. We spent our evening at the Henry's and we had camp fire!! I was always dreaming of having that and of course, roasted marshmallows!

It was a great night and I was amazed by the country scenery. They lived just by the river and they have the whole paint ball course made by themselves! I couldn't believe that they were all home-schooled. They are indeed a wonderful family. They walk in the word of God and the value that they have is totally surprising.

It's the different side of the American lifestyle that I get to see. Jesse, the youngest boy told me that he always wanted to become a missionary in Malaysia! How cool is that! I'm glad that a 9-yr old boy like him would say something like that!

We made s'mores! It's a special kinda food where graham crackers and Hershey's were put together with Marshmallows! That's heaven! haha!! I love that! Thanks to Nathan for putting up this farewell party for the both us. (Nathan is going to Texas for a couple of months and I'm heading back to my home country.)

Boys in Faith Center are funny. They are great to be with!

Green grass has sprouted and flowers are starting to bloom. I was so thrilled! I've never appreciated any flower. Cuz I was so used to see them back in Malaysia. I didn't realise that they are so wonderfully created. Along the road side, out of nowhere, they just bloomed. I got kinda excited. Spring is really here! Except I will miss the beautiful summer here.

Everything turned out great here. And tomorrow will be my last day working! PJ party! I'm certainly looking forward for that!

I'm telling you! This is the first time after being 4 months staying under 50°!!!I couldn't believe that, it's warm at this temperature cuz you're so used to the 40s or 30s. haha..LOL...I was wondering how it feels like when I get back to Malaysia...which is 80s and 90s....I bet it's unbearable!!!huh!...

I'm going to Disneyland real soon!! And...with a blink, it's been 4 months!! Awesome, huh?...Time seems like a cruel man'age'ment that makes its way as it wants. No sympathy or what so ever is shown to anybody.

Glad that I had the most wonderful dessert ever! Homemade dessert!haha...Freshly baked brownie, still warm from the oven,topped with ice cream, nuts, fudge and chocolate syrup! Scrumptious! Irresistible!

Made a trip to C.M. Russell Museum. Erm...Frankly speaking, I'm no art-appreciater. I just looked thru the many artworks of him and yeah...inspiring...

Blizzardy and the snow storm hit us since this morning. The snow has been falling since last midnight and doesn't seem to cease until late tonight. 3 inches of snow expected!! well, that's a record since I'm here! What a spring. According to Elaine, winter goes like lion and spring will come like a lamb. So, what had happened actually tell us that the lion will go ferrociously!!!wahahha....that's fierce....

Thanks to Willie that I could go to the wedding here in Great Falls! His friend's sister, Monica got married last night and I went to their reception. Turned out to be great! (Despite that I'm the only Asian and.....outsider. How about that?!)

The wedding reception was held in the Columbus Centre. It used to be a hospital, but...I think as time goes by, things change.

I thought it'd be cool if I get to go to one of the weddings here in Great Falls( and that was my thought last week) and yesterday, I got to experience that! How cool is that? or I should ask how cool is our God huh?.. He just makes things way better than what you could think or imagine!

And this is even cooler!! I met the student from Germany, Oliver. It's like an international (kinda) gathering after all! Both of us are in the student exchange programme and both of us met in the wedding dinner! Oh God, you are more than what I thought of! How amazing is that??!!

I thought the wedding dinner was kinda...tame. We had great time fooling ourselves around: throwing candies, snapping crazy pics. That's what youngsters would do. Last but not least, short and gentle "CHEEEEEERRRSSSSS....." (Awful would be when think of Yam~~ Seng~~) Arrrrgh...who invented those? Sick...

Oh yes! and the food!! Mm-mm!!!Scrumptious and hearty! My saliva is dripping even when I thought of that! From appetizers to main course and desserts! Just amused me...

I am glad that I got to see the grass turned green. Cuz, It's been....months that the grass is brown and grey and dull.. So finally, part of the field, started out some green sprouted grass. Sweet..

Time travels very very fast. It's been 3 months I'm here. I've been through a lot. and I couldn't even count the blessings from the Lord. Favour of Him that keeps me accompanied.

Luke 6:38 --> Give and it will be given to you...

The joy overflows when you give. I still remember the story where 2 people were given choices either be the one who gives or the one who receive. The one who chose to be the giver, becomes a rich man where the one who chose to be the receiver, becomes a beggar. I think it makes a complete and perfect sense. The rich has the ability to give. And I want to be the rich man!

I found that tipping comes with a great feeling of joy. Because when you tip, you are telling indirectly to yourself that you are rich. hehehe...It might sound funny but that's the reality.

I fell in love with Great Falls. A guest from Alberta, Canada told me that this city, is still living in the 1950's. I find this wonderful! No wonder...the people here live in a laid-back society with good manners and all. Still recalled a couple of weeks ago, I left my camera (Sony-DSC-T3O)in post office. A gentleman actually brought it to the attendant and she kept it for me. I could imagine what would happen if it takes place in KL. I would have lost it and I will never have the chance to have it back.

Despite the moral issues they have here...I mean, many teenagers here smoke, not to mention about the adults. Drugs...and the middle and highschool students actually take birth control pills. It would mean that...they are sexually active!! Even at this age!!! Shockingly scary...

I enjoy the convenience here. I used to look for Neutrogena cosmetics in Malaysia. I went to stores after stores to search for it (that's because I saw the ads in Elle Girl magazine, still not realising that it's the US mag.). The outcome from the hunting is zero. I still remembered the sales lady in one of the shops in Mid Valley said it out loud straight after I left, and I could still hear what she said exactly with a sarcastic tone, " Neutrogena got cosmetics one meh?" So....Manglish....I can't blame her because she's been locking herself up from knowing and discovering the world.

Now, in US, I enjoy the luxury of renting DVDs online, which shipped straight to my apartment and purchasing goods online that I don't need to have so much hassle going to the store on my feet; and I could buy branded clothes with a cheaper price here. I'm earning US dollars after all. Really indulging and I wish I could stay here forever.

But reality tells me that I couldn't do that. I have to go back and continue to strive. This journey serves precious practical and independent experiences for me without realising that I've been through so much and of course, much more to come. I thank God for this that I become better at more things. Lessons learnt here are just uncountable. If only I could stay longer...

SNOWMOBILING!

Thanks to Kyle, a new found friend in Faith Center. He brought us to the mountain, 60 miles away from Great Falls and a little town called Neihart. The snowmobile belongs to him and he's a good hunter too! Unbelievable! With his tender age, at 19, could make his own furniture, achieved the excellence in sports....so on and so forth.

It reminds me that the world is so big. In fact, too big for one to fully discover it.

We spent a couple of hours in the mountain. and I was utterly elated! Majectic hills and mountains assembled to an awesome view! It's so quiet that you could hear the wind blowing through the mountains. While we were strolling around the hills, I couldn't tell where I am. It's just a sudden loss of direction and that sense of peace is inexpressible.

Montana, being known as the Big Sky Country, has thrilled me with its nature form. With that endless view of the land, stretching out to meet the sky has so many stories to tell how great our God is.

If only the trees and the mountains would speak for themselves. I believe they'd praise and thank their maker or creator incessantly.

The whole US go an hour forward!!!!and...I slept for only 7 hours...and that's not all, I only lived for 23 hours that day! that's not fair! Everyone got 24 hours but...look at me!...

But....there's always a but. I like the dark comes late. hehehe....I enjoy that kind of 'day-is-longer-than-night' kinda thing!

What a Thursday it was! God is good all the time!

Driving on the freeway and what's the best thing to do? Playing the Country songs and get amazed with the scenery.

Majestic mountains and hills! And...I could totally immerse myself in the picture of why the author in Psalm wrote 'I lift my eyes upon the hills, where does my help comes from? My helps come from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth'. Diggin' in huh?...Makes you wonder....

Look at the picture (I know the camera wasn't doing a good job)! Isn't that magnificent?! Some of them are National parks and skiing mountains. I just can't wait to get there!

Had the chance to taste the gourmet Chinese food in Maple Restaurant (it's the best in town I guess although there is no way they could compete with what I had in hometown). Thanks to Bob and Sherry.

There's more! I got to have a sneak peek at the Malmstrom Air Force Base. Thanks to Bob and Sherry again cuz Bob was in military before he retired. What a pRIViLEGe! And you could find the cheapest bargain here. But...sadly...you can't shop here if you're not in the military.

In a nutshell -->

What a world it is and you won't get enough of it. Even if you think you are at the top of the world, there are still so much to see and experience! These things are normally not found in the text. It stays in one's heart and that's why sharing is so important.

P/S: if you don't understand what I'm talking about, it's not your fault or anybody's fault. It's just..because everybody expresses differently.

Great day today that I didn't even realise that the time passes so fast! Sunny, cloudy and windy, so I made a trip to the Post Office in 33rd street. But I was entertained by..erm....not very friendly attendants. But, the 2 ladies that I met later on discounted the fact. They made my day and Im thinking..."Lord, thank you that you're always there. Both bad and good times. Even though it seems bad to me, but in your sight, it's good."

So, again, God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

I discovered some kind of townhouses today. Beautiful!

And a 'Made in Montana' shop. haha...But I found the most beautiful decorations here!

And it says right! Live, Laugh, Love!! Many times we just don't appreciate things. When we make mistakes or encounter any challenges or problems, laugh at it! and a movie called 'Why Did I Get Married?' from Tyler Perry quoted that the greatest success in life is love God, love yourself and love others! I think it's pretty right.

And I dyed my hair last week. It's supposed to be honey-medium-highlight. But I know I'm no proffesionals or hairstylist. It doesn't turn out to be the colour I wanted but I like it though.

Thank you Lord for granting me the chance to witness the moon eclipse last night! The full moon eclipse was at 8.01pm and many were lining up to catch a glimpse at the telescopes. When it was my turn, I leaped with excitement to see that the moon is just humungus!

In addition to that, it's an international-cross-country kinda gathering! We knew a couple from German last night in Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Americans, Malaysians, and German! haha...

There were more! I got to take a look at the Saturn too. I must say it's the very first time ever in my life! It's just beautiful! Oh yes, and the Orion Nebula too!!! It was a marvellous starry night! Got to see different horoscopes in formed in the sky too! Just....SPECTACULAR...Amaaaazzzzzzzing.....

Oh God, you are the Creator of Heaven and earth! Even the universe! You name the stars and they belong to you! What a night!

And guess what I discovered? At first, I was surprised to see Bahasa Malaysia. but...After having the chance to check it out, it's a name tag! haha...I know it sounds silly, but the Americans seem fine with it. (Who cares?!?)

These few days are just sunny...It's like haven't been feeling this warm for long. Enjoy walking and the days are getting longer too. The happiness overflows.hee...just inexpressible. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will be glad and joy in it! I'm lovin' it!

Spring is coming real soon! The end of next month will be spring! I've heard amazing things bout spring and people here seem to love it. So I think I'm looking forward for it too.

I had quite a busy day yesterday where, before that, we paid a visit to Marta's place. Nice and cozy...and guess what, she gave me a candle holder which she bought from the State Fair for gift...I think as a...sort-of first-time-visitor-gift or..a welcome gift?..

and then, in Awakening, we had a simple yet fun Valentine's party. We played the Bible 'OUT BURST'!! That's just too cool! Our team won, of course, with the best chosen members!

It's been snowing since this morning..

On Tuesday night, our young adult lifegroup went to Downtown Great Falls for outreach. We prayed as we walked and hoping that we could meet someone out there. But it's a very cold and windy night. the streets were...desolated...I've watched the 'I am Legend'. It's something like that..or even the 'House of Wax'. No one is there but thank God, we finally get to see a man. We stopped by and prayed from him.

Then, we have Cindy and Cora to serve us dessert!!It's gingerbread with lemon sauce! Weird combination but when you swallow it, it turns out to be some kind of fantastic taste!

Get to know both Cameo (RIGHT) and Caiti (LEFT) here and they are super nice!!haha...Cameo being my hairstylist and make up artist. They just made my day!

I paid them a visit last Sunday and they showed me around their house.

They have a cozy living room and nicely decorated bedrooms.

In that very afternoon, I had omelette at Sherry's place after church service.

oh yes...not to mention the church's café.

I had Brevé last Sunday, it's brewed with Half & Half and it tasted so good. I think I can't resist another cup of it if they offer despite the fact that it wouldn't benefit my health at all.

The café is a nice place to chill. Church members hang out here to chat, to sip a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea and to have Do'nuts (they paired up perfectly!). Yum-Yum...

Today's I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!!

Had Ps. Gary shared about 'Making the Most of Everyday'. It has practical steps and we should set priorities in our lives - God must and has to be the first in our lives.

Today I baked a cake - Chocolate Cake! Thanks to my 'baking si fu' --> Sherry. and I've learnt how to make frostings as well, which turned out to be real good...Awesome.

Thank you Sherry! Sherry and Bob are lovely couples.

ha...One very interesting thing I've found out was that, 'Daylight saving time'. What a creative idea! and how shallow I am...hm..didn't know it till now.

It's extremely cold today! -18'C!

BLIZZARD. that's the snow storm, but I like it. hee...

That's a wonderful experience! Seeing inches of snow on top of the roofs, field, staircases, and cars...just spectacular. So... ...'whitish'.

Carol invited us over to her home for dinner, I must say:-

She and her husband made up this little charming English Village decor and spice up the whole living room.

We had a hearty dinner and we enjoyed the conversation with each other. A great time spent together!

Everybody seems to be in a hurry today. Everyone wants to go back earlier, the stores closed earlier too...the streets seem...silent...'SILENT NIGHT'. But in each home, there are chatters and laughters.

People are busy preparing for dinners and stuff. it's a whole new experience for me to have Christmas away from home(in fact, a far one).

Thanks Sherry for inviting me over and I had a wonderful meal with her family. They are so sweet. We had great time together and they introduced me the game --> Catch Phrase. It's exciting! I could get a few words right! well, they said I'm good at it. but I think I'm only good at the simple ones. LOL!

And, the gift that I dream for sooo long... The Starbucks gift pack from Ryck, Betsy, Cameo and Caiti! and I've got socks from Sherry! Although these are just simple gifts, but it's filled with LOVE...

I'm so happy to have them. Thank you for giving me the warmth when I needed it the most.

And then, at 9pm, there was a short but fabulous celebration in VCC. Astonishing duet by both Pastors Gary and Pam.

A week already...

Today's great! Finally found a church nearby my apartment!! COOL....it's Victory Christian Center! It's beautiful! The members are really great too. They showed warm welcome to me and showed me around.

Tomorrow's Christmas Eve..thank God, a sister from the church invited me over for their dinner. How great is that. She offered me a ride home and she's so sweet. Thank GOD..ehhe...

after that, I went to many places...thought could catch a bus or sth, but who knows not a single bus appeared!! and so, I walked...for like...5 hours...oh no....and I got lost in Downtown!! Thank God, angels are around, and I get to ask for directions even though I could hardly found anybody there...

Today's really really adventurous..This is my first time being so lost and scared...haha...

But..I got back home safely!!Cool...Merrryy Christmas Eeeeeve....

Today's a Saturday but I don't feel like it at all...Every Saturday for the past few years, I spent time in school sometimes and in church....Time is flying...I just got here last Sunday and ..tmr's Sunday! It's been a week I'm here. What I've done?...Need R&R urgently!!!

I can't wait to go to the church here. I'll figure out how to go there by walking..I've got the map on my hands...Tomorrow will be my very own discovery day!

I was looking forward for today's agenda, meeting new friends at work and explore new things!

Many things have gone well here and I wish that it will stay on like that...

I am still feeling kinda tired...Is it due to the Jetlag?Im not sure...well, my supervisor asked me to go back earlier for rest. I think probably it's because she saw me with panda eyes...

This is the most tiring journey I've ever had!

I thought it could be excited, but...who knows...I didn't even have the strength...

I finally have the strength, after I slept for 12 hours...

I was starving.. and decide to go out for a walk. to hunt for food.

it has beautiful scenery! The sun is shining brightly, the wind makes you feel colder and colder...

and....I just check out a Starbucks outlet at the airport! It's very cheap!!haha...only $2 - 3.8! Cheap right?? Until you make the conversion....

AND....the most important thing is that...I've found my 'HOME'!!home sweet home!
